Equal housing opportunity
We are pledged to the letter and spirit of U.S. policy for the achievement of equal housing opportunity throughout the Nation. We encourage and support an affirmative advertising and marketing program in which there are no barriers to obtaining housing because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin.
Fair housing and anti-discrimination
Federal, New York State, and New York City law prohibit discrimination in the sale or rental of housing. Protected characteristics include race, creed, color, national origin, citizenship or immigration status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, military status, sex, age, disability, marital status, status as a victim of domestic violence, lawful source of income, and familial status. We do not discriminate on the basis of lawful source of income, including housing vouchers.

Standard operating procedures
Pursuant to New York Real Property Law § 442-h, Compass publishes its standardized operating procedures for prospective purchasers. The procedures cover whether identification is required, whether a buyer representation agreement is required, and whether mortgage pre-approval is required. Read Compass’s New York Standard Operating Procedures.
Agency disclosure
New York law requires real estate licensees to provide the New York State Disclosure Form for Buyer and Seller at first substantive contact, and to obtain a signed acknowledgment. Review the disclosure form. We will provide the form and ask for your acknowledgment before we represent you.
Reasonable accommodations
Prospective tenants may request reasonable accommodations or modifications. Read the New York State Division of Human Rights notice.

Data sources and attribution
Where this site publishes municipal property data, it is drawn directly from the official NYC agency systems named below — the same records the agencies publish — rather than from third-party aggregators that do not state their sources. That is our ground truth. Even so, the agencies’ own systems remain the authoritative record, and public data is not a substitute for official verification. The data is provided for informational purposes only.
- PLUTO: Zoning and land use data provided by the NYC Department of City Planning (DCP) PLUTO™ database. Open data portal
- ACRIS: Property records and deed history provided by the NYC Department of Finance (DOF) ACRIS system. ACRIS
- DOB: Building permits, complaints, and violation data provided by the NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) BIS/DOB NOW systems. DOB building data

Users are advised to verify all DOB records and ACRIS filings directly with the respective city agencies before entering into any real estate transaction.
